Downhome Catering was very professional and efficient during Soccer Saturday for the Men's Soccer Paradise Recreational League. Downhome Catering spit roasted one of the largest pigs I have seen, and they did so effectively. The food was both well presented and full flavoured. For many years we have had a New Years / Christmas party at our home with my husband and I preparing all the food and special dishes for about 100 guests, serving and being host and hostess as well and at the end of the evening we had a rather large mess to clean up. This year Downhome Catering was referred to us as somebody that would look after all this for us and all we had to do was be host and hostess and just relax and enjoy the evening. We decided to give it a try and we were very impressed. Downhome Catering came in and prepared everything, very tasty food and served our guests and cleaned up afterward, the service was outstanding! We will never go back to doing this ourselves. We already have Downhome Catering booked to do our summer barbecue this summer and we are looking forward to a great time. We highly recommend this company, you won't be disappointed.

The food, in this instance hot hors d'oeuvres, was excellent and Downhome Catering made sure that all the materials were on hand to ensure consistent temperature and freshness with every bite. Thanks for making our son’s and daughter-in-laws Stag and Stagette the greatest.The salads were fresh and fantastic – not to mention the delicious flavouring of the pork. The meal certainly made the occasion and since than we are eagerly awaiting our next occasion (anything will do us now that we can call you) when we can have you guys back.

During the grand opening of ADESA’s new building in November, Downhome Catering came to the rescue. They provided us with a 100 pound pig and salads for the meal. It was a nice treat and the meal and service was fantastic.
I would definitely recommend Downhome Catering and we are looking forward to having them cater our next major function.

We used Downhome Catering for a 40th birthday celebration for my husband. We had a pig roast and deep fried turkey. The food was deliciously prepared and the caterers were very professional in their handling and presentation of the meal. Lots of food for everyone and a great time. Would do it again!!!!

Just wanted to pass along our many "Thanks!" for the great food and service you provided to make our wedding day perfect for us! We have gotten so many compliments on the food - how delicious and unique it was - that I thought I should pass it along. And the chocolate fountain was a huge hit, especially with the kids! The leftovers were very much appreciated as a 4am late nite snack as the party wound down for the evening ;-)
